Helpers Galore!

This week has flown by. We enjoyed having daddy home an extra day because of Labor Day and then I took Braden to the doctor on Tuesday with an eye infection. Thursday afternoon Braden had his newborn pictures taken and I was not feeling well. Nursing hurt SO MUCH and it felt like I had been hit in the chest with a bat. Then I began chilling and aching all over. I knew what it had to be... Mastitis. I called my OB first thing Friday morning and said that I have to get some relief for this, so they worked me in and Rue Rue was kind enough to take me us to Knoxville and take care of us for the day. I was right, it was mastitis and I am on an antibiotic for 2 weeks. I told Rue Rue that we sure are keeping CVS in business this month!

Braden never missed a beat, he is becomng more and more alert!

Rue Rue looks tired after taking me to the doctor and helping with the boys all day. She was a real LIFESAVER!

Grandmaw Bon came over on Thursday so that Brooks and I could go grocery shopping (and get out of the house a little.)

Brooks has been a BIG help with Braden too. Here he read himself to sleep before I could get back into his room.

Brooks LOVES for me to video him talking about Braden. I have several videos very similar to this one. I will cherish them because I know that there will be many days that the LOVE may not flow as freely!
