Grammie and Papa came to visit on Monday for about 45 minutes. Let me explain. They got to our house Monday afternoon and that is when we discovered that Brooks had to go to the ER. So we visited for about 45 minutes and then we headed to the ER. In the meantime, Papa was not feeling well (fever, aches, etc). So they decided to go back home while we were at the ER so we wouldn't get sick from being around Papa. Papa has had countless tests over the last several days and they cannot figure what the problem is (they are testing for Lime's disease, West Nile Virus, and a bacterial infection.) Please keep him in your prayers!
After we returned from the hospital Monday night Brooks was looking for Grammie and Papa. My mom said that he probably thought them coming was just a dream since it was so short! Anyway, the last few days he has been grabbing this picture of them and saying, "Nammie and Papa." Thank goodness we will see them next weekend. I think that we are all missing each other.
