Goin' Pickin

Friday Brooks and I went on a pickin adventure. (Actually, we just went about 3 miles down the road to pick strawberries.) We got really muddy, but enjoyed picking some juicy red strawberries. Brooks loved throwing rocks more than the strawberries, but it was still a neat activity to do together. He helped me wash them when we got home and then yesterday I made Paula Dean's "Strawberry Cream Shortcake." It was GOOD and today Brooks kept wanting more shortcake.
