Getting in the Christmas Spirit!

After Thanksgiving we jumped right into Christmas season. My mom and I got up at 4:30 am and went Christmas shopping. We got a lot of great buys and had fun despite the lack of sleep. Then Friday night we went to see the Christmas lights at the Banard house. They live only 3 or 4 miles from my parents and people drive from surrounding counties to see their Christmas displays. This year they even had a real Santa and Frosty the Snowman. Brooks enjoyed the train the most and he keep saying, "Lights, lights."

Brooks in a pair of his Christmas PJs. He loves FIRE so he gets very excited when Grammie and Papa turn on the gas logs. We have to watch him like a hawk because he sits there and tries to blow it out!

Brooks had to move his rocker closer to the fire to get a good look.

Papa was not in the Christmas mood when he discovered that Brooks wrote on the wall!
