Weekend of Fun!

We had a nice relaxing family weekend. We spent almost the entire weekend at home, with the exception of a trip to Chick-fil-a and church. In case you haven't noticed lately, most of the pictures we take of Brooks are taken outside. That's because he wants to spend all his waking hours OUTSIDE! If we are inside he goes to the door constantly and says, "Owside, owside."

This was the first time Brooks got in the sprinkler. He liked it a lot!

Should I run through it?

Brooks helped us get-down-and-dirty Saturday. He picked up handfuls of mulch and rubbed them in his hair and threw what was left into the wheelbarrel. It took a long time in the tub to get all of it out.

After all that hard yard work, Brooks needed something refreshing. His new favorite word is, "pascicle."

I have been pleasantly surprised that Brooks hasn't been a climber, that is until now. Saturday night Cousin Meredith was over visiting and I turned around and Brooks was standing on the ottoman. After that he climbed onto the chair, coffee table, and then on top of my workout step.

Sunday afternoon we ventured out to a small waterfall that is close to our house. Jeff discovered it while riding his bike on Saturday. Brooks kept saying "wa-wa, wa-wa!"

Brooks loves to throw rocks into our garden pond, so he had a ball with all these rocks!
