Brooks is All Good!

Brooks' appointment at Children's today went well. The hematoligist said that he looked great. They did some more tests and said that his hemoglobin is in the low-normal range, but nothing to worry about! (Thank you, God!) They said to continue on giving him his vitamins and they didn't need to see him again. Brooks' was such a trooper. We were gone several hours and they had to take his blood again in his arm. He kept waving bye to the doctor. I think he wanted to make sure the doctor knew that we wouldn't be back!

We celebrated the good report by going to eat tonight at the Waterfront Grill. Brooks loved the ducks. When he first saw them he said, "Bird." We had to explain that they were ducks (he is use to yellow ducks).

Hey ducks, wait for me!
Daddy and Brooks checking out the water and looking for those ducks that Brooks was chasing.

This is part of the Greenway Park in Maryville. It is 18 miles long and it is where Jeff and I like to do our long runs. It is beautiful - especially this time of year.
