Today was a wonderful day - Brooks turned a year old. It is so hard to believe that a year has gone by since he was born. It has been the hardest, most emotional, sweetest, and most exciting year of our lives. You never realize how much joy a child brings until you have one of your own. Brooks gets more and more fun everyday and we look forward to all the wonderful memories that our family will make together in the future!
For his first birthday, we went with a snowman theme. Everything turned out really well. The only thing missing was well - SNOW! Maybe we will get some soon! We had a great turn-out at his party (11 adults and 6 babies - not counting us). We were blessed to share this special day with such great friends and our wonderful families!
